Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify in locating capable small businesses, including Service Disabled and Veteran Owned small businesses capable of providing the items as listed in the attached Statement of Need. NAICS Code 334510, Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing. These items are for the VA Butler Fire & Emergency Services Department (VAB FES) at VA Butler Healthcare located at 353 N Duffy Rd, Butler, PA 16001. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Business name, address, Point of Contact, business size info. All information is to be submitted via email at justin.erdley@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 12:00 PM EST, Thursday, July 30, 2020. GENERAL INFORMATION Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this Statement of Work (SOW). Procurement is for the commissioning of one (1) new cardiac monitor in the VA Butler Fire & Emergency Services Department (VAB FES) at VA Butler Healthcare, 353 N. Duffy Rd., Butler, PA 16001. Background: VA Butler Fire & Emergency Services operates a single basic life support (BLS) ambulance licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH). VAB FES utilizes Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) licensed by PA DOH who operate under Pennsylvania Statewide BLS Protocols. VAB FES uses local ambulance service provider Butler Ambulance Service (BAS) for all advanced life support (ALS) functions. PA DOH recently broadened the Scope of Practice for EMTs to include the application and transmission of 12-lead EKGs to receiving facilities. B.
