2 Sources Sought Notice The Butler VAMC in Butler, Pennsylvania is seeking information on potential sources to provide and install UPS battery replacements in three (3) Uninterruptible Power Supply (U... 2 Sources Sought Notice The Butler VAMC in Butler, Pennsylvania is seeking information on potential sources to provide and install UPS battery replacements in three (3) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) University Drive and Heinz Campuses. Required work includes battery-string replacements in UPS Units A, B and C identified below. Product Name: UPS Refurbishment The specific characteristics to meet the Government needs include the following: Galaxy 4000 UPS unit AC Cap Assy# 0J-0N-9922, AC Cap Assy# 87-173183-00, AC Cap Assy# 0J-0127, DC Cap Assy# 87-173186-00, Fan Part#04-22106, Fan #72-173164-00, and Blower Assy# 72-132386-03. Work required includes the installation of the capacitors, fans, and blower and removal of the old parts in accordance with manufacturer specifications thus returning the equipment to manufacturer's specifications. All parts must meet or exceed manufacturer s factory specifications to maintain compatibility with systems presently in place and with future performance/reliability upgrades. All parts replaced by the Contractor under this contract, will come with a 3-year replacement warranty at no additional cost to the VA. Parts removed (replaced) by the Contractor become property of the Contractor. Additional requirements include: Factory Authorized Supervision during installation, calibrate DC Charger as needed, dispose of old parts in accordance with EPA Requirements. This is not a not a request for quote or proposals, but merely a means for Market Research. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing the brand name or equal equipment. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice. All responses shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
