Required work includes battery-string replacements in UPS Units A, B and C identified below. Product Name: UPS Battery replacements The specific characteristics to meet the Government needs include the following: Completely clean and service battery (units X2) UPS A & B - S/N EY411ZXX01 Make & Model: Eaton Powerware 9315 Series Battery Replacement- 120 Batteries (3 strings of 40 batteries each) Type of Battery to Be Replaced and Recycled- CSB HRL 12390WFR New Batteries to Be Installed- 12V, CSB, 390 WPC Location: HZ-B32 Data Center Room, BA118-A-1 Completely clean and service battery units (units X1) UPS C - S/N EH1628BC03 Make & Model: Eaton Powerware 9390 Series Battery Replacement- 80 Batteries (2 strings of 40 batteries each) Type of Battery to Be Replaced and Recycled- PWHR12280W4FR New Batteries to Be Installed- 12V, CSB, 280WPC, Insert Terminals Location: UD-B1, Room 1N101 Work shall include the transportation and movement of new batteries and all other materials from the delivery truck to the final installed location. Installation of the Powerware Series 9315 & 9390 will be in H.J. Heinz VAMC-B32 Data Center Room, BA118-A-1 and University Drive VAMC-B1, Room 1N101 at the designated defined location respectfully. This is not a not a request for quote or proposals, but merely a means for Market Research. The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential Small Businesses especially any SDVOSBs capable of providing the brand name or equal equipment. Information provided by potential sources will be utilized by the Government to determine market availability and procurement strategy. An award of a contract will not result from this Sources Sought Notice. All responses shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist no later than 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
