This is a Sources Sought Notice on behalf of the Altoona PA VAMC concerning the following: The Contractor shall provide certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, equipment, and supplies to perform Nuclear Cardiac Stress Test Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, equipment, and supplies to perform Nuclear Cardiac Stress Test Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center. The Contractor shall provide technologist and equipment to perform testing as scheduled by the Altoona VAMC Staff on the agreed upon days. The Contractor s personnel will be responsible to provide a wide range of specialized nuclear medicine procedures, including diagnostic imaging, therapy with unsealed radioactive sources, and cell labeling. The technologist must evaluate abnormal results, use and maintain equipment, set up and monitor quality control. It is expected that all equipment meet the inspection criteria of the Altoona VAMC s Biomedical Department and manufacturer s guidelines for PM checks. In addition to monitoring equipment before and during testing, the technologist shall serve as a consultant for all associated supplies and accessories. Place of Performance - James E.
