No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 4 provides Home Oxygen delivery and set-up to Veteran beneficiaries in Pennsylvania and Ohio Counties (see below for potential catchment areas). The Contractor(s) shall be responsible for providing Home Oxygen services/supplies to Veteran beneficiaries serviced by VISN 4 Prosthetics and Sensory Aid Service (P&SAS). The contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, equipment, transportation of equipment, set-up, labor, supervision, patient education, safety management, and infection control, as necessary, for patients on home respiratory care therapy. Potential sites for services include: James E. Van Zandt VAMC in Altoona, PA; VA Butler Healthcare in Butler, PA; Erie VA Medical Center in Erie, PA; and the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Pittsburgh, PA. The resulting solicitation will be full and open and implementing the prosthetics sole-source authority. Responses will assist VA planners in determining an appropriate acquisition and set aside strategy which best fit VA requirements.
