The purpose of this RFQ amendment is to answer vendor questions. The following information is hereby incorporated into solicitation 36C24420Q0057: A. Vendors submitted the following questions. The government has provided a response to each question. 1. QUESTION:             Adherence to pick-up time at the EVAMC between the hours of 10:00AM and 12:00PM or 12:30PM and 2:30PM. a.           Can t promise these time windows, the VA is about 2 hours from the servicing branch (using cash vault). Would normal business hours work? RESPONSE: The pick-up times indicated in sections 5 and 8 of the Statement of Work (solicitation pgs. 4-5) are firm requirements and may not be changed. 2. QUESTION:             Ability to make same day return to EVAMC before 3:00 PM. a.           Same day banking is not available because of distance and route restrictions, also we cannot return to the VA on the same day. Customer will need to provide clear tamper evident bags + deposit tickets to the messenger on the day of service. Can any exemptions be made on same day return? Seeing as this is daily service the returns can be made next business day. RESPONSE: The requirements for same day banking indicated in sections 5.b. and 8.c. of the Statement of Work (solicitation pgs. 4-5) are firm and may not be changed. Erie VA Medical Center does provide the secure bag. The Canteen funds are deposits, and secure bags and deposit slips are provided by Canteen. 3. QUESTION: PNC Bank, 3830 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA, a. We use a PNC cash vault in Pittsburgh where we do verify and report the deposits to PNC for PNC to credit the VA s bank account. Most deposits are credited next day from the day of service. Can we make deposits at the cash vault? This saves time and there fore saving money to the VA. RESPONSE: Use of PNC Bank, 3830 Pine Avenue, Erie, PA is required. ************** All vendor questions have been addressed in this amendment, and further questions may not be submitted.
