This synopsis precedes the issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C244-19-Q-0569. The Contractor shall furnish all services in accordance with the draft Statement of Work identified in the solicitation to provide services necessary to perform GeneXpert Gene Analyzer Maintenance services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The subsequent contract will be performed for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie VA Medical Center, 135 E 38th Street, Erie, PA 16504. As a result of the solicitation, the Government intends to award one (1) base plus four options years (5 years) Firm Fixed Price Contract, made to one offeror who meets the response requirements listed in the forthcoming solicitation. The applicable NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 million in average annual receipts. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote is responsive and conforming to the RFQ using Lowest Price procedures. The anticipated release date for the Solicitation is April 30, 2019. The solicitation will be posted at this website www.fbo.gov. All inquiries shall be in writing, e-mail inquiries to Robert Neal at robert.neal2@va.gov no later than April 26, 2019 by Noon EST.
