The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award a contract for STERIS Medivators Advantage Plus Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (Model # ADV-1007) and STERIS Endodry Drying & Storage System cabinets (Model # DRY-1001) to be installed at Sterile Processing Service (SPS) Department at the Erie VA Medical Center in Erie, PA. This is a brand name only requirement due to the need to be compatible with the current facility configuration and equipment. This notice of intent to conduct a brand name only procurement satisfies the public posting requirements of FAR 5. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on SAM.gov soon. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The estimated need date is as soon as possible. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov.
