This is a pre-solicitation notice for informational purposes only, and no proposals or quotations are requested at this time. The VA intends to issue a formal RFP on or about 10/07/2026 for a requirements contract for comprehensive Reference Laboratory and Esoteric Testing Services. The contractor must provide all personnel, labor, equipment, transportation, IT, supplies, specimen pickup/transport, pre-analytic processing, testing, reporting with VistA LIS interface, consultation, consumables, certifications, and HIPAA/VA security compliance. Services will support Appendix A VA medical centers: James J. Peters VAMC, VA New Jersey Healthcare System, VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, VA New York Harbor Healthcare System, and Northport VAMC. The acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS 621511 Medical Laboratories.
