The VA Network Contracting Office 2 and Buffalo VA Medical Center are conducting an RFI/sources-sought market research effort, not a solicitation, for an anticipated five-year contract for Holmium (30 W and 80 W), CO2, and lithotripsy (ESWL) laser services, including the units, a New York State certified technician, labor, and all supplies. Performance will occur at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Ave, Buffalo, NY 14215. The surgical suites require equipment that plugs directly into 30-amp, 240-volt-or-less wall outlets without adapters or transformers, and the contractor must maintain/test the lasers, provide technicians who follow VA policies, and keep laser-use and maintenance records available to VA Biomedical Engineering. Billing must reflect actual services and supplies used under the PWS and schedule. Interested firms should be able to demonstrate capability and experience delivering these laser services, including unit-specific supplies/disposables and past VA or comparable contract experience.
