The contractor would provide all personnel, tools, materials, supervision, monthly preventive maintenance, and as-authorized corrective maintenance for refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing, serving-line, and related food service equipment on a 24/7 operational basis. Key non-bid timelines include a 20-day post-award initial inspection, monthly PM commitments of at least 16 hours for refrigeration equipment and 8 hours for cooking/meal assembly/conveyor/toaster/dishwasher equipment, and emergency response times of 4 hours during normal duty hours and 6 hours outside them. The contractor must maintain minimum 24/7 emergency staffing, provide a certified project manager, use qualified/EPA-certified personnel where required, and comply with VA training, security, quality control, and reporting requirements.
