This is a pre-solicitation notice for a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside construction project to replace roofs and repair historical brick/stone facades at Buildings 6 and 7 of the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The estimated construction magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 under NAICS 236220. Work includes complete roof replacement, masonry and cast-stone repairs, window lintel refinishing, entrance stair/support wall reconstruction, storm/site drainage replacement, and asbestos abatement. Building 6 work will be phased in four stages due to occupancy, Building 7 work can be completed in one phase with protected basement exit access, and the contractor must complete the work within 400 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
