The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources to supply and install Webblock anti-ligature shades in bedrooms and toilets, and Solomount window shades in all other areas of Building 65’s first floor and Building 64’s second floor at the Northport VA Medical Center in New York. The contractor must measure all windows, remove and dispose of existing treatments, and install new shades, with a total of 56 Webblock and 163 Solomount shades required. The period of performance is 28 days or 20 working days, with work scheduled weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The contractor must have at least five years of proven specialty experience with these shade types and be an authorized supplier and installer.
