This is a Sources Sought notice to gauge market interest and capabilities for providing a specific Leica Proveo 8 surgical microscope system. The Department of Veterans Affairs requires the system for the East Orange VA Medical Center in New Jersey, to serve as a backup and mobile unit. The vendor must deliver, install, calibrate, and provide training for all equipment within 45 days after receipt of order. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, and items manufactured in the United States are strongly preferred. Interested contractors must submit a capability summary and specify the country of origin for the equipment.
