This is a turnkey project to refurbish the interior of three Audiometric Suites, containing a total of six booths, at the VAMC in Northport, NY. The work involves removing all existing acoustic panels, trim, and carpeting and installing new fabric-wrapped acoustic panels, trim, and carpet to meet strict acoustic and fire-rating specifications. The period of performance is three consecutive days, which must include one weekday and two weekend days, with work to be conducted during business hours (e.g., 0800-1630) while the medical facility remains operational. The contractor must have at least five years of proven experience refurbishing and installing IAC acoustic booths. All work must be completed with minimal disruption, adhering to stringent safety, security, and site coordination protocols.
