Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice DESCRIPTION Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Page 1 of *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 Page 1 of The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Buffalo, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide Well Water Supply preventative maintenance services at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768 under a single-award firm-fixed price contract. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about August 22, 2025 to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, perspective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quotes. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 221310 - Water Supply and Irrigation Systems with a Small Business Size Standard of $41 Million. The classification code is Z1NE Maintenance of Water Supply Facilities . The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit proposals to be considered by the Agency. General Description: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, tools and incidentals necessary to perform the repairs and upgrades as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) in the solicitation. Period of performance 9/15/2025-9/14/2026 with the provision of four (4) option years.
