The Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to release an invitation for bid (IFB) numbered 36C242-25-B-0019 Project No. 528A7-18-740 Replace 7C Patient Room Doors and Sinks on or about 11 March 2025. A general contractor is required to: CLIN 0001 Remove and demolish the existing doors and existing door monitoring sensors denoted in the contract plans. Install new NYS-OMH compliant anti-ligature doors and hardware in the locations denoted in the contract plans. Provide and install new The Door Switch door monitoring sensors on the new NYS-OMH compliant anti-ligature doors. CLIN 0002 Demolish the existing sinks denoted in the contract plans. Construct new custom anti-ligature sinks in the locations denoted in the contract plans. Install plumbing fixtures and new mixing valves at each sink location per plans. Period of Performance will be 220 calendar days from Notice to Proceed date. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220.
