The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2 intends to solicit and award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price, FSS task order with Exosome Diagnostics, Inc in accordance with the Multiple-Award Schedule Program 41 U.S.C. 152(3) and 40 U.S.C. 501, as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Period of performance: Base Period: 10/1/2024-9/30/2025 Option Period 1: 10/1/2025-9/30/2026 Option Period 2: 10/1/2026-9/30/2027 Option Period 3: 10/1/2027-9/30/2028 Option Period 4: 10/1/2028-9/30/2029 Basic description of the requirement: The Department of Veterans Affairs - Northport VA Medical Center Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services requires Exosome Diagnostics ExoDx Prostate Intelliscore Testing. ExoDx Prostate Test is a non-DRE urine based liquid biopsy test indicated for men 50 years of age and older with a PSA 2 10 ng/mL being considered for an initial prostate biopsy. A urine specimen is collected into containers provided by the testing company and shipped to the testing laboratory using their shipping materials. The volume of tests performed annually at Northport VAMC shall be approximately 100 tests. The contractor shall provide laboratory testing services to include specimen requirements, patients instructions, and means of transport for specimens from patient to contractor s laboratory; processing and analysis of the specimen. Consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation and result interpretation shall also be provided when required. Exosome Diagnostics, Inc is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the required Exosome Diagnostics ExoDx Prostate Intelliscore Testing and is the sole distributor of the Exosome Product in the United States of America.
