The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Cheektowaga, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide Medium Voltage Switchgear Maintenance for a Racking Mechanism Replacement at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center, 130 West Kingsbridge Road, Bronx, NY 10468 under a single-award firm-fixed price contract. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about May 20, 2024 to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 , System for Award Management, perspective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submission of quotes. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. NAICS Code is 238210 - Electrical Contractors and other Wiring Installation Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million. The classification code is J061 Maintenance/repair/rebuild of Equipment Electrical Wire with Power Distribution Equipment. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit proposals to be considered by the Agency. General Description: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate licensing, labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies to provide the Medium Voltage Switchgear Mechanism Replacement beginning on June 15, 2024.
