NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Officer 2 (NCO2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to include four (4) option years to Hologic INC., 35 Crosby Dr Bedford, MA 01730-1401 for a and Hologic Compass Stainer service maintenance purchase order at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, located at 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210. NAICS code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Classification code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Supplies with a Small Business Size Standard of $34 million. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
