It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing to Contract Specialist Taylor Richter, taylor.richter@va.gov, no later than 02/15/2024 at 12:00 am EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. The Batavia VA Medical Center (222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020) and Buffalo VA Medical Center (3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215) have a requirement for a contractor to provide lawn spraying treatment services to include lawn/insect control and poison ivy treatments. Contractors shall follow all applicable New York State laws and provide certification. General: Contractor must be registered and licensed by New York State to apply pesticides. A copy of the New York State Pesticide Business Registration must be provided when proposal is submitted. Any personnel performing services must provide a copy of their Commercial Pesticide Applicator from the NYS DEC. The NAICS Code is 561730 Landscaping Services with a Small Business size standard of $9.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Batavia and Buffalo VA Medical Centers.
