Can we provide cell phones instead? A2) Yes, the Contractor can provide cell phones. Q3) Is Parking Lot L accessible to the public? A3) There is a section set aside for Valet Parking only. Q4) Is there a cost for parking? A4) Complementary valet parking with no tipping. Q5) When can we visit the site? A5) Due to ongoing construction, a site visit is not being offered. Q6) For Lot L, are you requiring a minimal staff based on current volumes? A6) Adequate staffing is needed to cover all periods, Service Contract Labor Standards apply and the SOW indicates wait times of 10 minutes or less. Q7) Is Valet a new Service? The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Cheektowaga, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide Valet Parking and Parking Lot Attendants at the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768 under a single-award firm-fixed price contract. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about January 31, 2024 to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process.
