The NAICS Code is 561730 Landscaping Services PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing grounds maintenance and snow removal services at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center (19 Acres), St. Albans Community Living Center (52 Acres), and Manhattan VA Medical Center (six acres). The proposed contract action is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract with a base period of performance approximately April 1, 2024 September 30, 2024 with four option years. STATEMENT OF WORK SUMMARY: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, vehicles, supervision, tools, and materials necessary to provide lawn maintenance services, planting bed maintenance services, tree, shrub, brush maintenance services and snow removal services. Grounds Maintenance includes mowing, trimming, edging, spring clean-up, leaf removal, tree maintenance, mulching, hard surface (roads/sidewalks) maintenance, and flagpole maintenance. Snow and ice removal includes plowing, shoveling, and salting. The standard for snow removal services is blacktop clean with a 0% tolerance. Mowing shall be performed between April 1st and November 30th. Snow and ice removal shall be performed between October 1st and April 30th. RESPONSE: Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's experience in delivering the services listed above, as well as capability of performing these services in the areas listed above.
