It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo NY 14215 has a requirement for the construction of a new Gas room to include the installation of gas manifolds to support the Microbiology lab (room 234-E) and Blood Bank (room 218-E-2) located at the Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo NY 14215 under VA project # 528-22-125. The creation of the new Gas room shall involve the dividing of IT room (223-E-1) into two smaller rooms (IT room 223-E-1 and Gas room 223-E-2), installation of gas lines and medical gas outlets to both the Microbiology lab (room 234E) and Blood Bank (room 218E-2), and the demolition of the current Gas room supporting both locations (room 236-E). The result of this project shall be a Gas room that can provide continuous and uninterrupted gas flow to the facility in accordance with NFPA 55 Guidelines for Gas Room. The Contractor shall provide personnel, material, services, supervision and facilities to perform, accomplish, and deliver the required services detailed in this scope of work. All requirements stated in this scope of work shall be completed within 180 days of award. The NAICS Code is 236220 "COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION", with a size standard of $39.5M. The estimated construction value of this is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Buffalo Medical Center. This is not a solicitation.
