1. How many hours of overtime should prospective bidders include in this new maintenance contract? Critical units cannot be removed from service during normal business hours therefor up to 40 overtime hours a month is expected and should be covered under this contract 2. Will there be a CLIN for over and above emergency repairs, service calls and upgrades in this new maintenance contract? Unscheduled maintenance will be included in contract but no CLIN with a predetermined dollar amount will be added. Invoice for all emergency repairs must be submitted to the COR and the COR will submitted documents to the CO to issue a Modification to the contract. 3. Can you please define what equivalent qualifications refers to, as there is no equivalency to NEIEP training required to be a member of the IUEC? Only qualifications accepted will be NEIEP. 4. Is it the Northport VAMC s intent to have the contractor fund an elevator modernization as part of the maintenance contract should certain components noted above fail beyond repair (controllers, motors, generators, doors, sheaves, cables, etc.)? if any of the components fail the contractor is responsible to replace with same original manufactures design and specifications or equal thereto.
