The Syracuse VA Medical Center located at 800 Irving Ave Syracuse, NY 13210, intends to release an invitation for bid (IFB) numbered 36C242-24-B-0025 Project No. 528A7-18-740 Replace 7C Patient Room Doors and Sinks on or about 19 March 2024. A general contractor is required to 1- Demolish the existing doors denoted in the contract plans. Remove the existing door monitoring sensors from the existing doors. Install new NYS-OMH compliant anti-ligature doors and hardware in the locations denoted in the contract plans. Reinstall the existing door monitoring sensors on the new NYS-OMH compliant anti-ligature doors. 2- Demolish the existing sinks denoted in the contract plans. Construct new custom anti-ligature sinks in the locations denoted in the contract plans. Period of Performance will be 270 calendar days from Notice to Proceed date. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 236220. THIS IS 100% set aside for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) PROCUREMENT. The offeror must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) under the applicable NAICS at time of offer and time of award. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is: Between $250,000 and $500,000 The firms are required to self-perform 25% of the work and will be required to show in detail the breakdown to be submitted with the bid. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. A 20% Bid Bond will be required and must be submitted with the bid. Unless additional notice is given or this notice is modified, the full IFB will be posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (https://beta.sam.gov/) contract opportunities.
