THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE STRATTON VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 113 HOLLAND AVE, ALBANY, NY 12208 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 18, 2024, FOR THE CONSOLIDATE PRIMARY CARE ON 1ST FLOOR 1A BATHROOMS PROJECT. The Stratton VA Medical Center (VAMC) was constructed in the late 1940 s. It is a steel and masonry structure whose exterior facade requires maintenance to repair weather damage that has accumulated over time. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238390. The small business standard is $19.0 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK This project is second part of phase 1A that will renovate 415 gross square feet of existing offices (C101, C102, C102A) to create a public men s and women s restroom across from the proposed consolidation of the primary care units (blue, red, and silver teams). At the conclusion of all this project the teams will be co-located on the 1st floor, occupying the C and D wings and the core area between them. The scope of this project (Phase 1A bathrooms) is to construct these public restrooms ahead of the creation of the common check-in facility construction across the hall. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary removal of existing elements and construction and certain other items. 1. Scope of Work: Renovations as required to convert existing first floor offices to become public restrooms.
