THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24223R0036 for Door replacement and Installation at the VA New Jersey Healthcare Systems (NJHCS) East Orange Campus. This requirement shall be a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all responsible SDVOSB's may submit a quote, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $39.5 Million. Statement of Work Title of Project: Door Repair and Door Installation Background: The East Orange VA Medical Center in East Orange, NJ requires inspections and repairs on all Electronic Doors. Our Dialysis Door needs the Auto Operators to be replaced. This will get the door up to standards. Secondly, contractor will install brand new Storefront Doors on the 11th floor. They will remove the existing doors and Auto Operators then install the new glass doors. The existing Auto Operators will be used to electronically open the door. Performance Period: Firm Fixed - Price - The contractor shall supply all required items needed for repairs of both Dialysis Doors and installation of 11th floor Director s entrance glass doors. The contractor shall propose a timely schedule to meet the facilities needs and all requirements. The repairs need to be complete no later than (number of days expected) after award. Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed-Price Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in this statement of work (SOW), except as may otherwise be specified. Contractor shall assess listed doors for functionality and repairs required to return Dialysis Door to functional use. The Contractor will also be installing new Storefront Doors to the 11th floor as well. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all labor and materials required to complete repairs. The contractor shall test the functionality of the equipment upon completion of repair. All tests should ensure that damaged parts have been successfully repaired and all functions including, but not limited to those related to repaired parts, are operational. Contractor shall provide written inspection report and tests for operations upon completion of all work Period of Performance: 60 days after NTP Place of Performance: NJ VA Healthcare System East Orange Campus, 385 Tremont Ave, East Orange, NJ 07018 All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about February 10, 2023 . The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding, and all responses/submissions shall be electronic; faxed or hand delivered proposals will not be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in sam.gov and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
