Answer 1: No, there is no incumbent. Question 2: Do you have a reference/example of what you want the videos to look like? Answer 3: Unlimited rounds of review means we can tweak the script and plans until we completely approve. Question 4: How many camera angels you would be looking for on this project? Answer 4: Camera angles will be similar to the video referenced in Question 2. Question 5: What aspect(s) are most important to address about the connection between suicide and gun safety (and/or, the preferred percentage of breakdown of this content)? Answer 5: The therapy that the video is centered on deals with gun safety and mental health techniques to stop elder veterans from using their weapons in a suicide attempt. They are statistically more likely than other age groups to do this. Question 6: Is the intended audience limited to elderly vets at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center? Answer 6: -Audience is primarily VA mental health clinicians (psychologists, psychiatrists, etc) nationwide but will also be available to non-VA clinicians. Question 7: What are the distribution goals/ on which platform(s) will this video be seen? Answer 7: This video will be used in the TMS training platform as well as in virtual and in person training sessions run by the project team with a live audience of clinicians. Question 8: Can you provide more details on actor casting?  Is there any specific requirement related to actors? Answer 8: In general, we ll need both men and women of various ethnicities to represent the Bronx veteran population. The patient actors would also need to be a little older, around 50+. Question 9: If we have substantial video production experience but none with veterans or suicide prevention, does that preclude us from working on this project? Answer 9: The Government will evaluate quotations using the comparative evaluation process outlined in FAR 13.106-2 (b) (3). Quotations will be compared to one another to determine which provides the best benefit to the Government. The Government reserves the right to consider a quotation other than the lowest price that provides additional benefit(s). Quotations may exceed minimum requirements of the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to select a quotation that provides benefit to the Government but is not required to do so. See section E.4 of the RFQ document. Question 12: If we film in ModernEpic s studio, are we expected to rent that space and should that cost be included in our budget proposal? If we do rent the studio, what are the costs and what is provided (do we need to bring in our own equipment, etc)? Answer 12: Modern Epic doesn t rent out their studio so anyone getting the contract would need to find studio or a shooting location. We could work with the vendor on that. See update to the Statement of Work (SOW) at the end of this document. Question 13: Please clarify script consulting.  Will the VA provide the initial script or just an outline or message points, with the expectation that vendors will provide scripting from there? Answer 13: We will need help developing a script. We have some language for dialog but not all. Question 14: Will all of the production take place in NYC or the surrounding area? Answer 14: Preferably, yes. Question 15: If an alternate studio is suggested, does it need to be in Manhattan (as Epic s studio is located there) or can it be in the NYC metropolitan area (ie: Brooklyn, etc.) Answer 15: Anywhere in NYC area. Question 16: Given the PoP running from 9/30/23 11/30/23 what is the anticipated/required delivery of the finished product? Answer 16: End of year would be ideal. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
