NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole-source contract to Siemens Industry, Inc. for a service maintenance agreement for HVAC Controls at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse, NY 13210-2716, for one (1) base year (11/1/2023 to 10/31/2024) plus the provision of four (4) option years. The NAICS code is 238220 and the PSC is H212. This requirement is to provide for the Siemens Desigo HVAC Controls a service maintenance agreement contract for software upgrades to the existing Siemens Desigo CC Software as they are released. The upgrades include both Service Releases and all New Version Releases of Software. Quarterly service of the Desigo Server including diagnostics and adjustments to maintain speed and reliability will also be provided by Siemens on-site at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Siemens Industry, Inc. is the only known authorized provider for service maintenance agreements on Siemens Desigo HVAC Controls software and equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by August 4th, 2023, at 4:00pm EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Ryan.Brehm@va.gov.
