It is neither a solicitation nor a request for proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Reponses to this Sources Sought Notice must be in writing to Contracting Officer Daniel Zielinski, daniel.zielinski@va.gov, no later than 07/13/2023 at 10:00am EST. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. The Buffalo VA Medical Center, 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 and the Batavia VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020, have a requirement for third party semi-annual and annual inspections, annual pressure reliefs, and Quinquennial full load testing on elevators and dumbwaiters. Contractors and their certified technicians shall follow all applicable New York State laws and provide a Qualification of Elevator Inspectors (QEI). General Contractor and their certified technicians shall obtain all necessary licenses/permits in accordance with industry standards and New York State Law prior to beginning work. Contractor shall provide third-party verification of inspections and documentation for twenty-five (25) Passenger & Freight Elevators and three (3) Dumbwaiters. Contractor shall provide semi-annual inspections and documentation on seventeen (17) Traction Elevators, eight (8) Hydraulic Elevators, and three (3) Dumbwaiters. Contractor shall witness annual hydraulic pressure relief tests on eight (8) Hydraulic Elevators.
