This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Business firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334510. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking all small business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers, of the following brand name. Requirement: The purpose of this procurement is to obtain several items for use with the Medivators Advantage Plus AERs installed in SPS Brooklyn. The first of these is for various scope hookups as listed in the table below. These hookups provide the critical connection between the endoscope and the AER. The hookup designs are validated for proper flow to provide high-level disinfection of critical endoscopes and accessories. The hookups are particular to the endoscopes being reprocessed. The hookups below are needed to connect the Pentax, Fujinon, Olympus, or Given Imaging scopes in use in Endoscopy at the Brooklyn Campus to the Medivators AER for high-level disinfection. The second is for the stainless-steel Advantage Hookup Rack that stores the hookup blocks. The rack has a graduated design that keeps the hookups organized for quick retrieval and prevents tube tangling. The design allows the hookup tubing and connectors to hang for improved drying. Graduated stacking holds more hookups. The hookup labels face forward for quick identification. A shelf holds channel separators and accessories. The third is for two sizes of the Cleanascope Advantage transport carts: two, six-tray carts and two, ten-tray carts. These carts help protect the endoscopes by minimizing direct handling and reducing contact with airborne pathogens. After processing, the scope in the Advantage Plus AER cassette is placed in the reusable tray in the Cleanascope cart which minimizes the need to handle the scope once it is high-level disinfected. It is then covered with a protective liner. The Cleanascope trays accommodate large endoscopes. The Cleanascope carts provide an effective way to either temporarily store endoscopes or to transport them between SPS and the Endoscopy suite for reprocessing or storage in the Medivators EndoDry Cabinets. All of these items are necessary for use with the Medivators Advantage Plus AERs and must be compatible with these reprocessors. The items requested must have the characteristics described herein.
