Montrose Campus to Hudson Valley Hospital NY Presbyterian is 7 miles. Castle Point Campus to Long Island City blood center is about 80 miles. The delivery price schedule provided includes various destinations. The courier service can be utilized for anything that is needed for the laboratory as it is a comprehensive list that was provided from the vendor." Is a file missing from the solicitation which includes a "comprehensive list" of possible on-call service locations? If not, what are the locations requiring on-call service, and/or what is the on-call service mileage radius? Whatever is listed in the paperwork is what we have used courier for in past history but I can t rule out an extraneous trip that would be needed. We really haven t deviated from that list in the past. There are no missing files. On call would be times when Lab is closed and testing is needed. This is listed in the paperwork as Weekends, Holidays, Evening and Night at the VA Hudson Valley. Will the government consider anything over 30 minutes of response to a call? We can strive for 30 minutes but in some cased it should be alright to exceed. When STAT blood work is ordered they will need to expedite that s why we are focused on the 30 minutes.
