The Planmeca ProSensor offers real HD image quality. These will be used as replacement sensors since the ones we have are breaking down and unrepairable as well as no longer under warranty. Award will be based upon a comparative evaluation of quotes in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR 13. Comparative evaluation is the side by side pairwise comparison of quotes based on factors resulting in a Contracting Officer decision for the quote most favorable to the Government. The following are the decision factors: The Government will select the quote that represents the best benefit to the Government at a price that can be determined reasonable. The Government will evaluate comparatively, the following: price (including installation, training, and warranty), quality, past performance and speedy delivery. Following receipt of quotes, the Government will perform a comparative evaluation of the products/services quoted. The Government will compare quotes to one another to select the product/service that best benefits the Government by fulfilling the requirement. The evaluation of Government requirements outlined in this request for quote will determine suitability. Contractors may submit more than one quote; however, contractors are strongly encouraged to submit their best technical solutions and prices in response to this request for quote. Once the Government determines there is/are a contractor(s) that can provide a product/service that meet(s) the requirements of this request for quote, the Government reserves the right to communicate with only those contractors quoting the best-suited product/service to address any remaining issues. The Government will evaluate quotes for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that a quote is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).
