NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source open market purchase order to include four (4) option years to Bruker Scientific, LLC., 40 Manning Road, Billerica, Massachusetts, 01821-3915, for Bruker Labscape 48 Maintenance service maintenance of a MALDI Biotyper Sirius one CA (SN 189023290004) at the Buffalo VA Medical Center, located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14206. This requirement shall include preventative maintenance, unlimited emergency onsite service visits, spare parts, remote support, and Compass and Data Analysis software updates and upgrades. NAICS code is 811210 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the classification code is J065 Maintenance, Repair, Rebuilding of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Supplies with a Small Business Size Standard of $30 million. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notice prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
