The procurement of this equipment is intended to provide a safe and approved environment for the storage of reprocessed high disinfected GI scopes. This endo dry cabinet works with the current equipment and processes that are in place. The solutions ensure GI scopes and accessories are accurately stored after high level disinfection and patient use. The procurement of the Endo Dry cabinets will also allow the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) to take over the reprocessing for the scopes from GI into the Sterile Processing Services (SPS) for proper storage, other than in the GI suite. This includes all planning, execution, and training for staff.
