This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), 8(a), HUBZone, and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone and email (e) DUNS/SAM UEI number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) type of small business, e.g. SDVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. This Sources Sought is for the Bath VA Medical Center located at 76 Veterans Ave, Bath, NY 14810 who have a requirement for semi-annual lawn service and vegetation control for one (1) base year with the provision of four (4) option years. An optional site visit may be included in the official solicitation. All parts, labor, equipment, and materials shall be included in the purchase order to perform: Lawn Service to include fertilization with weed and insect control as needed once during the Spring (Round #2) and once during the Fall (Round #5) seasons. Vegetation Control to include non-selective weed control once in Spring (Round #2) and again during the Summer (Round #4) seasons. Vendor shall be registered as a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator or Certified Commercial Pesticide Technician by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The NAICS Code is 561730 with a Small Business Size Standard of $9.5 million. SDVOSB/VOSB vendors shall be registered in the VetBiz (VIP) database.
