Page 1 | 1 This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. Responses to this notice shall include the following: (a) company name (b) address (c) point of contact (d) phone and email (e) EUI number (f) Cage Code (g) Tax ID Number (h) Type of small business, e.g., Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, or Small Business HUBZone business and (i) must provide a capability statement that addresses the organizations qualifications and ability to perform as a contractor for the work described below. This Sources Sought is for the East Orange VA Medical Center located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018-1023 who have a requirement for repair, removal and install services of their Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC). A site visit may be included in the official solicitation. All parts, labor, and materials shall be included in the service order in order to perform: 1. Decontamination of three (3) BSC s 2. Disconnection, removal, and disposal of BSC s 3. Installation of three (3) new replacement BSC s including but not limited to the exhaust connections and all related equipment. 4. Commissioning and Certification of installed BSC s 5. All inspection services shall be conducted during standard business hours (7:00AM to 4:30PM) Monday through Friday only and shall be scheduled at least three (3) business days in advance with the COR. The NAICS Code is 562910 with a Small Business size standard of $ 22.0 million. SDVOSB/VOSB vendors must be registered in the VetBiz (VIP) database. Any offeror capable of providing this service shall notify the Contracting Specialist no later than February 16th, 2023, 17:30 pm Est.
