The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain interest from contractors who would be capable of providing Board Certified Medical Diagnostic Physicist Services on site in the Buffalo, NY area to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Western NY Healthcare System. This request is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e) in order to conduct market research. Responses to this query are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a guarantee to issue an RFQ in the future. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. No questions will be answered in response to this notice. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541690 Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, Small Business Size Standard $16.5 Million. OVERVIEW: The Contractor will be requested to furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel to provide on-site diagnostic medical physics services for the VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) at the Buffalo and Batavia sites. Services required are performing quarterly, semi-annual and annual Quality Assurance testing on existing diagnostic equipment - Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, PET, Dental, Display Monitors, Lasers, and MRI Scanners. In addition, acceptance/installation of new equipment and inspection/repair of existing equipment will also be required along with pertinent reporting/surveys.
