NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Cannon Medical Systems USA, Inc. 2441 Michelle Drive, Tustin, CA 92780. The period of performance is February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024 with a provision of four (4) option years. Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210 has a requirement for a full-service contract for Cannon Imaging Equipment. The Syracuse VA Medical Center require a full-service contract for Canon Imaging Equipment. The need is for preventative maintenance (PM) service and on-call emergency support, for the Canon Imaging Systems listed below. This coverage shall include full support for all components and software, including tube replacement. The medical devices include Canon ULTIMAXFPD/PF.000 (ULTIMAX-I MULTIPURPOSE X-RAY SYSTEM 17"X17" FPD WITH PULSE FLUORO). Ultimax SID 30057987. Glassware/X-Ray tubes include DSRX-TUBE.010 (X-RAY TUBE) QTY 1. Only certified Canon technician are authorized to work on any equipment listed in this statement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by December 16, 2022 by 10:00 am (EST).
