NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Boston Scientific Corporation to provide the IC Polaris-iLab EverCare PLUS to include IC FFR Link and Hemo cable service agreement for the Boston Scientific Polaris Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) SN: 3134225 located at the Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 to include two option years. The IC Polaris-iLab EverCare PLUS service agreement includes: 24/7 telephone technical support, on-site support, off-site repair replacement units shipped within 48 hours, one preventative maintenance visit annually, software updates, software upgrades, technology upgrade, and one hardware upgrade. The IC FFR Link and Hemo cable service agreement includes: 24/7 telephone technical support and off-site repair replacement units shipped within 48 hours. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized Field Service Engineers (FSE), and using only new OEM parts. NAICS Code is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a Small Business Size Standard of $30 million. The classification code is J065 Maint/repair/rebuild Of Equipment Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by October 21, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael Spivack@va.gov .
