Disposal needs to be billed per ton, and it is extremely hard to incorporate a rate per haul to include disposal. As it is based on a by TON rate please quote the following dumpsters with their corresponding estimated tons PER YEAR from the table below: (if estimate is 20 you would do a quote for 20) this ensures all quotes are comparable. Dumpster Size & Desc Used for VA s Annual Usage Estimate (for quoting) 40 Open Top Construction Debis 200T per year Also Note: CLIN 0001 and 0002,0003,0004,0005 should be marked NSP (Not separately Prices) These CLINS are place holders to house the sub CLINS which are the individual dumpsters and disposal fees. So please do not assign a price or cost for the MAIN CLINS= only the SUB CLINS Q2 Can Listing of Key Personal Be submitted separately from the Quote submission, such as after award? A2: No, Key personal listing must accompany the submitted quote. It is vital to ensure that the personal performing the work are properly licensed and trained to do so safely and is required with the quote in order to ensure awarded company has such trained/licensed staff. (IE: CDL license) Q3 In block 10 of the SF 1449 Form, What does "Unrestricted" mean? A3 Unrestricted is the procurement method selected based on market research conducted. Q4 In block 17a of the SF 1449 Form, May you explain in further details about what does "code", "facility code", and "EFT" mean? A4: Code is if you were say using a DODAC number UEI Unique Entity Identified (Which used to be your DUNS number) SAM now no longer use DUNS# s they switched wed over to UEI# s this IS a required field so that we can be sure you are registered in sam.gov. Facility code would be if your facility had its own internal coding system (not required to be filled out). Q5. What are the suggested discounted terms that you would prefer? A5 This would be any additional discounts given by the contractor to the government with regards to this solicitation and quote provided. Q6. To be clear, are offers due on 11/01/2022 as stated in block 8 of the SF 1449 Form or 10/26/2022 as shown on sam.gov? A6: Use the info in block 8 of the SF1449, SAM info was likely based off the old pre-solicitation document, just email all quotes by the time and date in Block8 of the SF1449 which can change if the CO decides to extend the due date. Q7 Are there 25 hauls per 40 yard open-top dumpster or 25 hauls between both 40 yard open dumpsters? A7: There are 25 hauls total between both 40 yard open top dumpsters (estimate at 20ea per) Q8 I've searched everywhere for a 22 foot enclosed dumpster and I cannot find it. But I can offer a 20 foot dumpster in the place of it, would this be acceptable? A8 The statement of work unfortunately can t be changed at this phase we would need a quote for a 22ft. We are not able to re-write the requirement at this time due to urgency of need.

This is only a notice of pre-solicitation. See below for dates and times as it pertains to this requirement and estimated dates of the actual RFQ Solicitation. Requirement: The Canandaigua VA Medical Center (VAMC), located at 400 Fort Hill Ave, Canandaigua, NY 14424-1159, is soliciting an Estimated Quantity Purchase Order to provide the rental of two (2) 40 yard open top roll off dumpsters, for construction and furniture debris, which also requires pick and disposal of the debris. Additionally, one (1) 22-foot enclosed dumpster for cardboard recycling, pick up and disposal. Additional Requirements: The procurement consists of a one (1) year rental, rental period to begin within three days of award of two (2) 40 yard open top dumpsters, pick-up, and disposal of debris. Additionally, one (1) 22-foot enclosed dumpster for cardboard recycling, pick up and disposal with a rental period of five (5) months. Estimated Usage: It is estimated that there will be approximately twenty-five (25) hauls of debris and ten (10) hauls of recycling at the request of the Canandaigua VAMC. There will be twenty-four (24) hours notice when hauls need to be made and will be approximately five (5) tons on each occurrence for debris. The dumpsters shall be returned to the same location or different location, at the request of the Canandaigua VAMC. Pick-ups will occur Monday Friday during normal business hours 7:30 4:00 pm, excluding Federal Holidays. Delivery/fuel/and or environmental charges, etc shall be included in the contractors Quote provided.
