THIS PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE IS TO INFORM YOU THAT THE NORTHPORT VA MEDICAL CENTER, LOCATED AT 79 MIDDLEVILLE ROAD NORTHPORT, NY 11768, INTENDS TO RELEASE AN INVITATION FOR BID NUMBERED 36C24223B0021 WILL BE POSTING A SOLICITATION ON OR ABOUT MARCH 16, 2023 FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF ROOFS AND REPAIR FACADES FOR BUILDING 12. PROJECT NO. 632-21-114 Replace Roofs and Repair Façade Building 12. This Project will replace the roofs and repair historical brick and stone facades at Building 12 at the Northport VA Medical Center located on 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. The Contractor shall furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by the drawings and specifications. Work includes abatement, demolition, general construction, roofing, alterations, structural, mechanical, plumbing, lightning protection and electrical and other miscellaneous trades as required. Submittals for scaffolding, structural elements and safety-related items to be prepared by a Professional Engineer retained by the contractor. Period of Performance: Completion date is 360 calendar days from Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) date.
