This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Bath VA Medical Center located at 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810 has a requirement for semi-annual inspection and certification of two (2) compounding aseptic isolators, semi-annual inspection, and certification of two (2) laminar flow hoods, and quarterly airflow testing. This service requirement shall include: Contractor shall provide proof of technicians completing the following three (3) certifications Controlled Environment Testing Association (CETA) registered Cleanroom Certification Professional for Sterile Compounding Facilities. National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) Certified for testing, adjusting, and balancing of environmental systems. Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing Bureau (TABB) Certified for testing, adjusting, and balancing of environmental systems. Contractor shall perform semi-annual inspection and certification of two (2) Compounding Aseptic Isolators (CAI) used for compounding category 1 sterile preparations for treatment of patients at the Bath VA Medical Center in accordance with CETA CAG-002-2206 guidelines (or most up to date applicable CAG guideline) and United States Pharmacopeia Convention (USP) 797 guidelines in order to maintain an International Standards Organization (ISO) class 5 environment. Contractor shall provide semi-annual inspection and certification of two (2) laminar flow hoods used for the processing of laboratory specimens in accordance with National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) Standard 49 guidelines. Maintain minimum airflow velocity of 100ft/min (0.5 m/s) through work access opening. Contractor shall perform quarterly air flow testing. Contractor shall perform all testing and certification in accordance with American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (AHSARE) guidelines.
