Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to JOHNSON CONTROLS, INC., 507 E MICHIGAN ST M-93, MILWAUKEE, WI 53202-5202 for the upgrade of the Buffalo VA Medical Center s 3495 Bailey Ave Buffalo NY 14215 Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) and Voice Evacuation Messaging system in Buildings 1 and 6 from the Johnson Controls 4100 Legacy system to the Johnson Controls 4100ES system The vendor shall be authorized by Johnson Controls to install, perform System Verification, Functional System Certification and Intelligibility testing, and necessary training of facility personnel to operate and maintain the upgraded system. The vendor shall also be responsible to install three (3) Truesite Workstations with full active graphical maps and related travel screens and a Bacnet Panel to allow the Fire Alarm system to be tied into the existing Building Management System. Vendor shall also be required to update all building drawings associated with the Fire Alarm System. The NAICS Code is 334290 Other Communications Equipment Manufacturing with a Small Business size standard of 750 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements above, may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by July 11th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Michael Spivack@va.gov .
