Peers VA Medical Center 130 West Kingbridge Road Bronx New York 10468 General Description of Services: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, supplies, equipment, and qualified personnel to  provide on-site certified Diagnostic Medical Physicist support services to conduct Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine testing and audits for existing equipment (Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, and Computed Tomography (CT)). All services will be under the direct supervision of a Board-Certified Medical Physicist. The FDA, and New York State Department of Health require testing of diagnostic x-ray equipment to ensure diagnostic imaging quality, and a safe environment of radiation safety for patients, staff, and visitors. The VA requires that these requirements be satisfied. Contractor shall offer a diverse, multi-modality experienced team of qualified Diagnostic Medical Physicist professionals. In addition, the Certified Diagnostic Medical Physicists is required to complete monitoring and reporting related to Radiation Safety Program. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions.
