Page 2 of 2 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Regional Procurement Office East, Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to CareFusion Solutions, LLC 3750 Torrey View Court, San Diego, CA 92130-2635. The period of performance for contract award will be from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023 with no option years. This requirement is to provide a CareFusion Pyxis Medication Dispenser service plan for dispensers and components and a Carefusion Pyxis Tissue & Implant Management System (TIMS) service plan for dispensers and components for Albany, Bath, Buffalo, Batavia, Canandaigua, Hudson Valley, Rochester and Syracuse VA Medical Centers in New York. All work shall be performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) due to patents and copyright associated with the CareFusion Pyxis product line. CareFusion Solutions, LLC is the only known provider since the equipment is proprietary and maintenance therefore only be provided by CareFusion Solutions, LLC. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by June 10, 2022 10:00 a.m. (ET). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to Kimberly.wiatrowski@va.gov.
