Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: - Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) intends to award a sole source contract award to Stryker Corporation for the service agreement on patient beds and stretchers at the Buffalo and Batavia VA Medical Centers from 7/1/2022 to 6/30/2023 with the provision of four (4) option years. The NAICS code is 811219. - 110 ProCuity Z Beds in total will be listed on this service agreement, included in the table of equipment to be serviced below. The service agreement includes annual preventative maintenance inspections to remain JAHCO (Joint Comission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations) compliant. This agreement shall include all parts, labor, and travel. Contractor shall be an authorized service provider for the OEM, Stryker Corporation. The contractor shall also provide on-site service support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week within two (2) hours (absolute 6 hour minimum) of initial call from the customer. Unlimited service calls, labor, travel, and parts (excluding disposable or expendable parts) shall be considered within the scope of this service agreement. - Stryker Corporation is the only known provider of services who can satisfy all the above requirements in the Buffalo/Batavia, NY area for the installation/service agreement. - THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by May 27th, 2022 at 16:00 EST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Nathan.northrup@va.gov.
