Question 4: Will the government provide hand sanitizer for this contract? Answer: Yes Question 5: Please provide the square footage by floor type (e.g., carpet, terrazzo, vinyl) for the facility? Answer: There is no breakdown of the 2800 sq ft area by sq footage, but there is 1 group room and 3 offices that are carpeted, the rest is linoleum tile. Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 2), Cheektowaga, New York intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide for Janitorial Services under a single-award Firm-Fixed Priced contract for the Brooklyn Vet Center, 25 Chapel Street 6th Floor, Brooklyn, New York 11201. The VA anticipates issuing an RFQ for this requirement on or about June 1, 2022 to be posted to www.SAM.gov. This procurement will be solicited in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the quote submission process. Description: Vendor shall provide Janitorial Services, to include all necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel for janitorial services necessary for execution of this contract including, but not limited to: vacuuming, thorough cleaning/sanitizing of restrooms, empty & wash waste receptacles, cleaning offices, high dusting & low dusting, mopping all floors thoroughly, polishing furniture & cleaning furniture, cleaning stove and fridge exterior, clean inside windows, wipe ceiling fans, cleaning air vents, vacuum & clean elevators, sweep & mop steps. Vendor shall be required to provide technical capabilities and past performance during solicitation.
