The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this RFI announcement. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, on behalf of the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 2, New Jersey VA Healthcare System, is currently conducting market research for responsible concerns able to provide an industrial sized Lathe. The brand and models desired are Jet Tools model 321890 but equal models will be considered. The minimum specifications are listed on the attached document. If your company is proposing an equal model, you must submit sufficient documentation supporting that your suggested make/model is equal to the desired model listed above or your submission shall be deemed non-responsive. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email no later than May 18, 2022, 6:00PM Eastern Time, to Contracting Officer Gina Blum, gina.blum@va.gov and the subject line shall include RFQ number 36C24222Q0734 . Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number or UEI number, address, point of contact and social-economic category.
